Let me tell ya…it was a major growth period for me! Here’s a snippet of what I learned.

What did 2024 teach me?

That everything serves a purpose. From suffering, to pain, to extreme joy and all the in betweens.

The only way through is through and it is much easier when done rooted in love, gratitude and direction of growth.

If you aren’t growing you are dying.

You can learn from everything.

Pain is the greatest teacher.

Obstacles are opportunities and proof you are moving in the right direction.

If you don’t even try, you’ll never have it.

Chase your dreams and what you love.

You can do and be anything. Just take it one step at a time.

Anything that’s worth anything takes work and time.

You can create any kind of life you want.

Love conquers all things.

As I sit in stillness on this slightly chilly morning, I am reminded at how fluid life is. I am reminded that once a moment has passed, it will never exist again.

No morning will ever be exactly as this one is. So I soak up the sights and sounds of nature, enjoy the deliciousness of my coffee while cozy in my blanket, enjoying the company of my fave four legged friend. Life truly is a blessing, I just wished I realized it sooner.

This is why it is so important to live fully in the present moment…because it too will pass.

So…be present, love always, forgive often, do right…and live each moment to the fullest.

Arrogance….. it causes restlessness

Find who you are and love yourself!

I went from a state of mind where I hated to be alone or in the quiet (because internally it was very LOUD and disturbing). I always had to have company, music or TV…any kind of distraction to drown out what was going on in my mind. I hated my thoughts and all the past versions of myself. And I always felt as though I was stuck back there. I was shameful, lacked trust, hated myself, loved conditionally, put walls up to prevent hurt, etc. (and still battle with many of these).
To be honest, I didn’t even really know myself, and I definitely didn’t love myself. I somehow had become a person that I didn’t know. I was clueless as to how it happened. I had so many unhealed traumas and was suffering from so many events of the past. I couldn’t trust, I couldn’t fully love and I couldn’t find peace. And I definitely couldnt confide in anyone because I was always judged when I did.
It wasn’t until I was pushed to be alone more often that I began to see more. More of myself, more of truth and more wisdom and eternal knowledge.

I finally had this realization. The only thing eternal is love. It is the reason and the catalyst of our creation.
Love is how we are sustained and how we survive and thrive. It is the only catalyst of miracles. It is the only thing eternal. Love is God. And all that LIVE in love is filled with power… the incredible power of creation. If only we could remain in a state of love.

The journey from that mindset until now has been one with so many highs, lows and everything in between. But no matter how tough the mental and spiritual work becomes I continue to push forward. Trusting. Trusting that this too shall pass. Moving forward in love and gratitude for the gift of life. Always grateful because this life is so special…even with all the hardships and pain!!! So we should treat it as the incredible blessing that it is. It’s an opportunity to create an experience for ourselves that is as magical and amazing as we can imagine it to be.

So if there is anything you can do for yourself is to find more ways to get to know the real you and to love yourself more than anything or anyone.
